We close on the 20th December & reopen on the 2nd of January.
Enjoy hassle-free stops wherever your journey takes you. Glide-Rite installs the HPC automatic levelling system, purpose-built for campervans, giving you a stable base in under 90 seconds. With touchscreen control, manual override, and smartphone app connectivity, you’ll have complete confidence on every pitch.
Forget ramps and uneven ground. The HPC Hydraulic Self Levelling System creates a rock-steady base for your campervan, whether you’re pulling over for a quick overnight stop or settling into a campsite for a week. Smooth, stable, and stress-free.
Lightweight aluminium hydraulic jacks automatically adjust at the touch of a button. It’s the fast, accurate levelling system designed with campervan owners in mind.
The HPC levelling system will level a vehicle in 90 seconds or less.
You have auto levelling functionality and user memory, so you can have your own setup, which is particularly useful if the camper is parked on your driveway, for example. There is also a tank setting for drainage of your waste tank, stabilise for quick levelling, and manual mode, which allows you to raise and lower the jacks in pairs on the front left, right, and rear. This can be done from the colour touchscreen located in the habitation area or from the mobile phone app available on Apple and Android mobile phones completely free of charge.
The HPC hydraulics is the only system manufactured from anodised aluminium. Its main benefit is that it is extremely lightweight, with the whole system weighing 55kg, including hydraulic oil and fittings for a complete 4-corner levelling system. This is one of the lightest hydraulic levelling system on the market.
Glide-Rite offers a service plan after the third year, which allows you to extend the warranty by an additional ten years, for a total of thirteen, provided the system is serviced annually after the third-year warranty expires. More details of this service plan can be obtained by emailing info@glide-rite.com. This warranty package is the best on the market and a testament to the quality associated with the HPC levelling system.
A manual override for the hydraulic pump is included as standard if this was to happen.
Every customer consults with our technicians before we carry out the installation. We will find the best location for the pump and touchscreen, ideally in your habitation area, but we are open to bespoke locations based on the customer’s wishes.
Ideally, we also want to locate the hydraulic pump inside so access is straightforward if you are required to service the unit or operate the manual override, however, in situations where it is not possible to fit the hydraulic pump inside your vehicle, we can install it underneath the vehicle, but the pump will have to be housed in a waterproof box to protect it from the elements and there is an additional cost for this service.
Yes, if the levelling can’t be done automatically because you are on a site with a steep incline, the touchscreen will notify you that automatic levelling cannot be achieved and that you must switch to manual operation. In some cases, pads or blocks may be required to give extra lift.
For this situation, stackable pads are available directly from Glide-Rite. They are manufactured from nylon and designed to last a lifetime.
Yes, if you are going from an AL-KO chassis to another AL-KO chassis, for example, the transfer is extremely straightforward. If you are going from an AL-KO chassis to a different chassis altogether, transferring is still viable, but replacement mounting brackets and jacks may be required, depending on the vehicle. Either way, it is still considerably cheaper than buying a new system.
There is a handbrake overide as standard that will automatically retract the jacks if the ignition is turned on and the handbrake is released. If you did not mean to do this, unlike some other systems on the market, if you reinstate the handbrake, the jacks will automatically stop, and you can go back into the touchscreen and auto level.
There is also an LED light that illuminates when the jacks are deployed. When the light goes out, you are safe to drive the vehicle. The LED light is located on your dashboard, so it is visible from the driver’s seat at all times.
Yes, in manual mode, it is possible to lift all wheels off the ground to winterise the vehicle. The system will not drop during this time, and you can leave the vehicle in this position for as long as you like. It is also ideal for changing tyres or fitting snow chains.
This varies from vehicle to vehicle, but the average installation time is 12-15 hours.
Backed by a 10-year warranty, the HPC system removes the hassle of manual levelling with four preset positions (level 1, level 2, tank drain, stabilise). It also makes tasks like changing a wheel or fitting snow chains much safer and easier – while fixing everyday annoyances such as uneven cooking and shower drainage.
