Renault Trafic Full-Air Suspension

The Renault Trafic and its partner equivalents of Vivaro from the Opel / Vauxhall / GM group, the Fiat Talento and the NV300 from Nissan are a highly popular model and favourite for the light commercial and leisure vehicle markets in Europe. Drive-Rite were once again delighted to work alongside the Renault team to develop an air suspension system that respects the wishes of the Manufacturer and at the same time meet the high expectations and demands of its customer base.

The result is an easy to install air suspension for the rear axle that provides a comfortable ride under all loaded conditions. The system is flexible and can be tailored to suit individual needs. For easy loading and unloading the system can lower to its minimum height and thus providing a small incline for easy access of goods or people and wheelchairs. Extra height ground clearance is provided as an option – an ideal benefit if driving over an embankment or incline.

The Intelliride system has automatic load levelling at each height. The system continuously monitors inputs and component performance as a means of increasing safety and durability. The system recognizes and responds accordingly to potholes, cross-articulation and extended turns. This intelligence prevents unnecessary activity and air consumption. The system even recognises unachievable heights, assisting in the prevention of possible damage above or below the vehicle.
